Stock putaway

First the I-point process for putaway must be activated and completed. Stock is then sent to the tower together with a goods receipt slip. There is a screen in front of the tower. Several towers can be controlled from one individual screen.

The user enters the load unit number on the screen.

Once the list number has been scanned, the next screen appears displaying information for the user on the location for stock putaway. If stock is located in several towers, lights go on to indicate the relevant location.

Stock retrieval

First the process for retrieval and release must be activated and completed. Stock is then sent to the tower together with a picking slip or container number. There is a screen in front of the tower. Several towers can be controlled from one individual screen. Once the list number on the picking slip has been entered (by means of the barcode), the next screen appears displaying the location from which stock can be retrieved. The system then works through each item on the picking order.
