"We belong to a technological market that requires flexible and dynamic reactions," explains Alexander Stabauer, project manager at Gebrüder LIMMERT AG. The company feels optimally equipped to meet these challenges with PROLAG®World. CIM’s modular WMS will manage over 25,000 articles stored in an area of around 14,200 m². LIMMERT’s manual warehouse, conveyor system and transport and route management will all be operated by PROLAG®World, as well as an AutoStore® system planned for the future.
PROLAG®World features functions such as an integrated dashboard and a business intelligence tool which provide transparency in the warehouse and enable you to respond quickly and flexibly to dynamic KPIs. CIM’s order picking system PROLAG®Go, manages automated and manual storage processes and calculates optimal routes for picking and loading. This allows for faster, more efficient order processing.
The PROLAG®World converter – an interface tool developed by CIM and integrated into the WMS – is used to securely integrate the warehouse management system into the existing IT landscape. Interfaces are planned to the ERP system SHCware®, the document management system DocuWare, the conveyor system and the automated small parts warehouse AutoStore®.
CIM’s transport management app ensures dynamically optimised warehouse management as well as efficient route planning and management. The app shows the correct loading sequence for a scheduled route, and also eases delivery with functions such as paperless proof of delivery or photo documentation.
