Working at CIM

Since it was founded in 1985, CIM GmbH has become firmly established as a leading supplier of warehouse management software. We’ve now grown to almost 100 employees, and our solutions are implemented around the globe in warehouses of all sizes from all sectors.

Our family-run company has a healthy mix of employees from 13 nations including apprentices, new and long-time employees as well as equal numbers of men and women, fostering a stable and diverse company culture bound by shared values and principles.

We’re continually expanding to new locations for greater proximity to our customers and to the best talents.

Career opportunities

Thanks to our longstanding customer relationships, you can quickly get involved in intensive collaborations within a variety of ongoing projects. We’re constantly expanding our project portfolio both within Germany and internationally, ensuring job enrichment and continued professional development.
We very much believe in fostering our employees’ talents at CIM. Customised training courses and knowledge sharing sessions across departments are just some of our tried and tested methods. We’ve introduced a mentoring program to help new employees with various aspects of settling in and getting up to speed on our software. Regular meetings and sessions are held to discuss customer projects or showcase the latest software innovations and insights from internal working groups. Our acquired know-how and expertise is collected in a central knowledge base so that it can be shared across all levels of the company.

You can also take part in a variety of internal projects in interdisciplinary teams, addressing topics such as sustainability, logistics trends or communication. Not only does this help you to connect with colleagues – it also encourages you to pursue and develop your own personal talents and interests. We provide regular soft skills coaching within these groups.

Building strong and harmonious relationships is an integral part of working life at CIM – openness and team spirit are key principles of our company philosophy. Our yearly calendar features a number of regular events and gatherings. From ski trips to fun runs to our annual Oktoberfest visit, and spontaneous meetups to go hiking or to the theatre – we enjoy socialising at CIM.
