Our partner solution ALPHAPLAN provides an ERP system including inventory management, CRM, accounting and ecommerce. The software is marketed and supported directly by the manufacturer. This guarantees close contact with customers and involves them in new product development and enhancement. ALPHAPLAN is a regular participant in the “ERP system of the year” competition and has won multiple awards.
dbh Logistics IT AG (dbh) is one of the leading software and consultancy companies in the areas of customs and foreign trade, compliance, transport management, port industries, SAP and cloud services. Their solutions help to reliably and proactively break down barriers within global supply chains. The focus is on maximum efficiency for all commodity flows so that goods can find their way to their destination as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.
dbh’s software solutions are built on over 40 years of experience and competence. The company operates site throughout Germany. Over 200 employees design and develop products that help businesses to gain a competitive advantage in the global market. Services range from consultancy, development and implementation through to support and hosting in the company’s own data centres. dbh is certified according to ISO/IEC 27001.
CIM has a longstanding and trusted partnership with Gilgen, a leading general contractor for turn-key intralogistics systems, collaborating with customers to ensure the success of their logistics projects. Our warehouse management software PROLAGWorld plays a key part in steering and optimising processes in the numerous turn-key systems designed by Gilgen in logistics and distribution centres throughout Switzerland and beyond.
CIM GmbH is a partner in the ZIM Green Logistics network, which is supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
Within this partnership, CIM is involved in a working group addressing the following topics:
- Concept for reducing CO2 emissions in goods transport
- Monitoring system for reducing inefficient deadheading in the warehouse
- Tracing of CO2 emissions for pallets and containers

The ACD group is one of the leading technological service providers in the electronics segment. Their mobile devices and solutions for retail, logistics and other sectors are a perfect addition to our portfolio at CIM.
Barcotec and RealWear can look back on a long history of cooperation. Their partnership has culminated in the RealWear HMT-1 smart glasses, which are designed with a user-friendly, voice-directed interface. CIM is proud to have been part of this partnership with Barcotec since 2019.
For over 40 years now, cab has been developing and manufacturing labeling solutions and a wide range of accessories for product marking. The range includes label printers, print and apply systems, label dispensers and marking laser systems. cab also provides ribbons and labels for the perfect impression.
Datalogic is a global technology leader specialising in the design and production of barcode readers, mobile computers, sensors for detection, measurement and safety, RFID, vision and laser marking systems.
As one of the largest manufacturers of computers, laptops, printers and scanners in the US, Hewlett-Packard offers special hardware for intralogistics applications.
NIMMSTA is the manufacturer of the world’s first industrial smart watch with touch display. An interactive display provides users with the information they need for scanning, and entries and confirmations can also be made. The innovative company is based in Munich and all products are developed and produced in Germany.
US-based Zebra Technologies provides software tools and devices for data capture and processing. Zebra makes barcode scanners, RFID readers, mobile computers, and printers for printing coupons, tickets and receipts.

These partnerships allow us to integrate the latest scientific findings and technologies into our warehouse management system, ensuring that our solutions remain both innovative and future-proof.
Research project: Making AI work against cyberattacks
Together with a team from the Vilshofen Technology Campus at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology and a handful of partners from the private sector, the objective is to develop an AI system for the early detection of cyberattacks. The project is based at the Vilshofen Technology Campus, a research location at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology (THD). Under the leadership of Professor Michael Heigl, the Institute ProtectIT will provide scientific support over the next three years.
Within the context of user-oriented research, our cooperation with the Technical University of Munich (TUM) is centred around developing and advancing order picking systems and optimising material and information flows. PROLAG World is deployed in the testing hall at the university campus in Garching.
CIM is currently working with the TU Munich on a research project concerning artificial intelligence and intralogistics.
