Our services

Process planning

Our process planning for the installation of warehouse management software begins with a thorough requirements analysis. Following this, we draw up a detailed implementation plan which is tailored to your specific needs. PROLAG World is then customized and seamlessly integrated into your existing systems. We offer a comprehensive range of training courses for your employees, equipping them with the necessary skills to maximize the software’s potential.

Warehouse optimization

Our warehouse management software PROLAG World optimizes your warehousing operations efficiently and effectively. Intelligent algorithms and automated processes are used to optimally manage warehouse stocks, minimize travel routes and make optimum use of capacities in the warehouse. This leads to enhanced warehouse performance, increased efficiency and a significant reduction in operating costs.

Test support

Test support ensures the smooth implementation and functionality of PROLAG World in your warehouse facility, from development right through to application. Our project management team is on hand throughout the testing phase to ensure successful integration and reliable operation.

Testbetreuung

Logistics planning

Test automation in PROLAG World enables efficient and reliable verification of software functions. Automation tools are used to create and execute repeatable test scenarios that save both time and resources. This approach ensures stringent software quality, significantly reducing the risk of errors during implementation and deployment.

Deployment

The commissioning of PROLAG World encompasses the complete implementation, configuration and preparation of the software for operational use. This process includes making all required settings, migrating data from your existing systems and providing comprehensive user training to ensure a smooth transition. Once everything is in place, the final step is to go live and start reaping the benefits of your optimized system! / The it’s just a matter of going live!

Project support – from strategic planning to implementation

At CIM, project support in the context of warehouse management software spans the entire process from strategic planning to successful implementation. We begin by crafting a tailored strategy based on the specific requirements of your warehouse. This is followed by careful planning and implementation of the software, ensuring that all aspects are customized to fit your unique processes. We provide ongoing support throughout the project and make any adjustments necessary to ensure that all goals are efficiently and on time.

From kick-off to go-live in just a few steps

Our process starts with iteration planning, where we establish the phases and milestones of your project. This is followed by the specification phase, where your requirements are defined in detail. The configuration phase involves tailoring our warehouse management software meet your specific needs. Once configured, the software is deployed, leading into a comprehensive testing phase to ensure that there are no errors. The last step is acceptance, where you give your final approval before the software goes live.

After a successful kick-off where the scope of the project is defined, iteration planning is the next crucial step. This involves breaking down the desired processes into individual development periods, known as iterations, and arranging them in a logical sequence. A phased approach facilitates step-by-step implementation and allows for continuous adaptation of the system based on evolving requirements and insights gained throughout the process.

In the specification phase of implementing a warehouse management system, the customer’s exact business requirements and objectives are determined. This phase includes an analysis of existing processes, definition of functionalities and creation of a detailed specification document. The goal is to create a clear basis for implementation, ensuring that the WMS is optimally tailored to the customer’s needs.

In the configuration phase, the warehouse management system (WMS) is adapted to meet the specific customer requirements. This includes setting up user rights, customizing workflows and integrating existing data. Specific settings ensure that the WMS is seamlessly integrated into existing operating processes and that it performs optimally. The objective of this phase is to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of your warehouse processes.
The provisioning phase during rollout of PROLAG World comprises implementation of the customized configurations and modules in the customer’s operational environment. This includes installing the software, configuring hardware, networks and databases as well as performing a system integration check. Careful provisioning ensures optimal performance of the WMS and seamless data exchange. Once this phase is complete, the system is fully operational and ready to efficiently support your warehouse processes.

During the testing phase, the warehouse management software undergoes a stringent review process. Our quality management team conducts rigorous testing of the processes that have been developed, often involving the use of large datasets to simulate real-world conditions and evaluate the software’s ability to handle peak loads. Internal testing is crucial to confirm that the software meets the specified requirements, is functional, reliable, and performs as expected.
However, the testing phase is not considered complete until the system has also been extensively tested by the customer. This step is crucial, since customers may have specific requirements that need to be addressed. Comprehensive customer testing ensures that the warehouse management is operating as intended and ready for a smooth go-live.

Once the test phase has been successfully completed both internally at CIM and by the customer, the WMS is deemed to be formally accepted. It is possible for just one part of the system to go into operation, or the final go-live can take place once all iterations have been completed. During the acceptance phase, the functionality and performance of the system are evaluated to ensure that all expectations are met. This step is a critical milestone, marking the official readiness of the WMS to efficiently support your warehouse processes.
