Replenishment of picking warehouses

Picking storage areas can be replenished with or without re-storage.

Replenishment of picking warehouses
Replenishment is the process of supplying picking areas in the warehouse with the appropriate goods. Replenishment can be order-based or article-based.

Replenishment without re-storage means that partial pallets which have been used for replenishment remain in the picking area rather than being  transported back to the stock area.

Replenishment with re-storage means that goods which are not required are transported back to the stock area. Following replenishment, a new storage location is allocated by generating a location suggestion.
