Warehouse billing can be triggered automatically for individual owners and time periods.
There are four different billing types in PROLAG®World: based on warehousing costs, stock movements, insurance fees and value-added services or VAS (a separate module). Specific pricing can be defined for storage areas, load units, articles and article groups.
Warehouse billing based on stock movements
Warehouse billing based on stock movements means that bills for your storage transactions and occupied storage slots are issued for specific time periods. Billing is based on history and space data. Bills are issued at the end of the predefined timeframe.
Warehouse billing based on storage slot
This feature uses a predefined threshold value for the storage time. If the storage time exceeds this threshold value, the days on which storage slots were unoccupied are subtracted from the total storage time. Billing is by client.
Warehouse billing based on services/value-added services (VAS)
This warehouse billing feature can be used to bill clients for services such as goods receipt stocktaking, sampling, pricing or pallet wrapping. Costs can be predefined for individual services. You can also specify individual costs for each service used.
Warehouse billing based on warehousing costs
Warehousing costs can be grouped according to specific timeframes. The system calculates the costs incurred for individual warehousing activities (putaway, retrieval, relocation, stocktaking) by day, weight or volume.
Billing types
Warehousing costs can be billed according to various defined criteria.
Warehousing costs factor
The warehousing costs factor is applied to the amounts arising for warehousing costs. The factor can be adjusted so that it applies as of a specific date and it can be applied to storage areas, clients or storage characteristics. Fees for storage slots can be staggered on the basis of storage characteristics.
Fixed warehousing costs
A fixed price applies when the number of warehousing activities or actions falls below a specific predefined threshold value. The criteria can be defined by date.
Invoice for warehousing costs
The invoice can be created and output in PROLAG®World or transferred to an ERP system.
The data includes client data, for example, in addition to all stock movements, cost factors and fixed costs. The invoice is created using Crystal Reports and includes the value added tax and relevant tax number as entered in the client master. Invoices can be generated in other languages as required. The texts can be modified in the configuration class dialogs. An itemised list can be provided with each invoice.
