This module can be used to place whole delivery units in storage by scanning the standard GS1 barcode, such as the SSCC.
Barcode-supported storage of whole delivery units based on GS1 standards
The details of each supplier-specific barcode are stored in a table (barcode configuration) in PROLAG®World.
The GS1 barcode can be entered directly at the goods receipt area (I-point). All the information stored in the barcode is taken from the table and used for the storage operation (putaway).

The details of each supplier-specific barcode are stored in a table (barcode configuration) in PROLAG®World. The GS1 barcode can be entered directly at the goods receipt area (I-point). All the information stored in the barcode is taken from the table and used for the storage operation (putaway).
When the goods are received on a carrier (container, pallet etc.), the GS1 barcode is scanned to decode the separate information components such as article number (GTIN), number of boxes, batch, SSCC, serial number etc.
Only one reading/scanning operation is required to extract multiple pieces of information and transfer this information error-free to PROLAG®World.

To create and print labels based on GS1 standards throughout the warehouse (goods receipt, production, packing area etc.) the 'Creation of Labels Based on GS1 Standards' module is required (205-25).

Please note that this module should be purchased together with the module PROLAG®Go - Scheduled Goods Entry 302-03_01.
