Medication supply

A medication list is created in the system for each patient indicating which medicines the patient takes on which days, including the dosage. Using the interface to an automatic sorter, medicines can be sorted for in the pharmacy for each patient. Before any medicines are administered, the patient's armband is scanned to confirm identity and reduce errors. Medication which is stocked on the wards is tracked in the system, therefore replenishment is automatic. Purchase orders for the wards can be created in PROLAG®World. If the best-before date of the medicines on the ward has expired, PROLAG®World automatically triggers a process to restock the products which have expired.
