LogiMAT in Stuttgart

CIM will be attending this year’s LogiMAT from 31 May to 2 June, highlighting new developments in its renown intralogistics software. Interest in the new user interface for the logistics suite has been enormous. The new browser-based interface is available as a mobile app, is extremely intuitive and boasts a modern design for an optimal user experience. Updates on the PROLAG Hazmat feature will also be available at the fair. And CIM will be presenting PROLAG Transport, its brand-new extension for seamlessly integrating fleet and route management into goods issue processes. The team at CIM is looking forward to welcoming visitors in hall 8, stand F58.

Automation as the key to enhancing efficiency and sustainability in logistics

ZIM funding for the self-learning warehouse management software PROLAG®World

And according to a study into e-commerce strategies for midsize retailers, it’s a trend that looks set to continue: The study predicts that in five years’ time, more than one in four euros will be generated by online sales, the exception being in the groceries sector. This means that the e-commerce logistics sector needs to be robust and ready to handle higher purchase volumes in the long term. Event organiser EUROEXPO announced their decision on Wednesday evening to cancel LogiMAT 2020. The cancellation due to an official injunction amid concerns over the coronavirus means that CIM GmbH will no longer have the opportunity to showcase the newest features in their intralogistics software. The company has therefore decided to bring personal consulting services to the web.

Viele Retouren? Kein Problem

Die CIM stellt quartalsweise Releases zur Verfügung. Einen Teil der Erweiterungen des Releases 2.8.3 betrifft das Modul Retourenmanagement. Die im Lager eingehenden Retouren können nun noch schneller für den Wiederversand verfügbar gemacht werden. PROLAG®World merkt sich bereits beim Versand der Ware die Warendaten. Bei Eingabe eines konfigurierten Retourengrundes werden die Retouren automatisch in den passenden Lagerbereich gelagert. In Kombination mit dem Instandhaltungsmodul können die Retouren entweder zur Instandhaltung (Verpackung wird ersetzt) oder in die Werkstatt (Artikel muss repariert werden) geschickt und ein Werkstattauftrag erzeugt werden.
