Wednesday, 16 October 2019 CIM applies artificial intelligence for smarter warehouse management. Logistics experts from around the world will be meeting in Utrecht from November 5th to 7th for the ICT & Logistiek trade fair. Over 150 exhibitors will be showcasing the latest cutting-edge trends and solutions around this year’s main theme of Smart Warehousing. A leading provider of intralogistics software since 1985, CIM will also be in Utrecht demonstrating their solutions for the future. The focus will be on PROLAG®World, the company’s warehouse management suite. CIM’s customers are optimally prepared for the challenges of the future with PROLAG®World: functions such as intelligent stock putaway and retrieval, two-step order picking, site, owner and client administration as well as the integrated Business Intelligence tool create increased flexibility, faster response times and greater transparency in the warehouse. The shipping system PROSEND® simplifies dispatch and transportation processes – which are also key elements of a smart logistics solution. Into the future with artificial intelligence Another central theme at CIM’s stand will be artificial intelligence. CIM is currently working on the topic of artificial intelligence in intralogistics on various levels, including a planned research project in cooperation with the Technical University of Munich (TUM). The aim of the project is to examine how artificial intelligence can be deployed for continuous optimisation of master data maintenance. At the same time, CIM is focussing on making PROLAG®World increasingly intelligent in practice. Logistics specialists from CIM will be showcasing new features in the system live at stand A130 in hall 1, and will be on hand to answer all your questions around AI, automatic warehousing systems and many other innovative warehouse management concepts offered by the future-proof warehouse management software PROLAG®World.
