CIM’s specially designed android app PROLAG®Go is installed on the smart glasses. The app receives the data from an upstream warehouse management system – PROLAG®World in this case – and displays all the information relevant to the order in real time on the smart glasses. Both employees and software can be kept up-to-date regarding the type, location and quantity of goods to be picked.
Users can instantly process the information displayed on the smart glasses and also have a completely unhindered view of their surroundings in the warehouse. They have both hands free to focus on the essential task of picking. And if a mistake is made during the picking process, users are informed of this instantaneously. To make things even easier, pictures of the articles to be picked can be shown on the glasses.
Additional focus on production logistics
Another central theme for CIM at this year’s LogiMAT will be production control in PROLAG®World. The company’s logistics consultants will demonstrate how to optimize material flows around production. Taking production orders as the basis, it will be possible to create finished or partially finished products and book the relevant raw materials in the system. Production control allows a real time overview of stock levels within the production process. Whether you create production islands, individual machines or a pool of production areas is individually configurable.
Live demonstration at stand 8C38
Visitors to LogiMAT 2019 will be able to experience our solutions ‘live’ at our booth in hall 8, stand C38. CIM’s logistics experts will be on hand to showcase special solutions for shipping, production and material flow control – all as part of the PROLAG®World Suite. A tailor-made package can be put together for individual customers based on the industry sector, size and type of warehouse.
