PROLAG®Go

Mixed LU entry with SSCC

Relevant module: PROLAG®Go - Mixed LU storage (302-04)

Bnefit: By scanning a Serial Shipping Container Code (SSCC), users can enter multiple goods receipt items simultaneously.
This saves a considerable amount of time since they no longer have to select each item individually.
Ideally, the whole process can be realised with a single scan.

Description: If the multiple goods receipt items are identified by scanning an SSCC number, PROLAG®World creates a mixed load unit – a load unit containing multiple non-identical stock units. The goods receipt items are processed one at a time. Configuration settings can be made to determine which elements are automatically skipped. Once all goods receipt items have been successfully posted in the system, the mixed LU is closed automatically.

Mobile I-point - Sectoring

Relevant module: PROLAG®Go - Mobile I-point (302-03-01)

Benefit: The graphical overview at putaway showing the sectored transport LU types improves usability and makes it quicker and easier to find a free sector.

Description: Transport LU types can be linked to sectors. There is a preview function to help the user define the sectors and whether the sectors are divided lengthways, crossways or diagonally.
Once a sectored transport LU type has been selected at the mobile I-point, the system automatically queries the sectoring configured for the LU. For easier orientation, an orientation letter can be attached with a hyphen to the barcode of the sectored container (100001-B, for example). The orientation letter always indicates the side the user/employee is standing in front of. Whether or not the orientation letter is displayed in the preview function depends on the configuration settings.
Description of the process: The employee scans the barcode on the sectored container. If the container has been scanned already and already contains stock, the system proposes the next free sector, marked in the graphic in green. The first time a container is scanned, a selection of the sectors defined for the relevant transport LU types is displayed and the employee selects the one they see in front of them. As soon as PROLAG®Go recognises the sector and the load unit ID, a coloured graphic shows which sectors are already occupied (purple), which sectors are still free (grey) and which sector the system is proposing (green). If you work with orientation letters, the graphic is turned on its side accordingly so that the sectors are represented exactly as the user sees them in reality.
This helps users to get their bearings more quickly and identify the correct location for putaway.
