Reaching new heights

From March 19 to 21, the Messe Stuttgart convention centre opened its gates once again for one of the largest international trade shows for intralogistics solutions and process management. Almost 70,000 visitors were recorded by the organizers this year, and we at CIM seized the opportunity to proudly showcase our nearly 40 years of expertise in logistics processes. Existing customers, prospects and partners were invited to experience a live demonstration of the latest features in our intralogistics suite. Attendees also had the chance to try out our mobile WMS processes first-hand using the NIMMSTA Industrial Smart Watch. They were invited to pick a small clip-on toy from our demo racking system before relaxing with a refreshing drink at an informal evening get-together.

Book presentation: AI project with participation by CIM

The Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML took the opportunity at LogiMAT to officially launch a new book on the topic of process optimization in intralogistics. The book provides a roadmap for increasing efficiency in intralogistics. Following the motto “Think big, start small”, it focuses on methods and mindsets for achieving big goals with small steps and gradually developing them further. CIM made a valuable contribution to the book with an innovative practice-based article on "Artificial intelligence in WMS".

Lea Isfort and Kira Schmeltzpfenning from the Fraunhofer IML present their publication “Process Optimization in Intralogistics – Effective Use of Methods, Software and AI”. Pictured in the centre are Friederike Kammann and Hannelore Mayr from CIM.

We’re proud to look back on a successful trade fair presentation, and look forward to seeing lots of new and familiar faces at our booth next year!
