PROLAG Transport update: The new PROLAG Drive driver app for carriers

With Release Notes 26.3, CIM introduces "PROLAG Drive," the new native driver app for PROLAG Transport. It extends digital transport management with a mobile application for drivers, directly connecting dispatchers and drivers. Route information, order details, and the documentation of loading and unloading operations are now available directly on a smartphone.

PROLAG Drive: The driver app for end-to-end digital transport management

PROLAG Drive gives drivers a central overview of their daily routes and the associated orders. The app connects to PROLAG Transport through an intuitive registration screen. Once the TMS instance has been entered, the app is ready to use.

User management is also integrated directly into PROLAG Transport. The new "App User" role allows driver accounts to be created centrally and linked to the corresponding employee records. At the same time, targeted permission settings ensure clear access separation: App users can log in exclusively to PROLAG Drive and cannot access the office-based TMS main application.

Routes, vehicles, and orders at a glance

The app automatically provides the loadings and vehicles assigned for the respective day via an API interface. Drivers can see their upcoming trips at a glance in a clearly organized route list. If a driver is assigned multiple vehicles, they can select the appropriate vehicle directly in the app. If only one vehicle is assigned, this step is skipped automatically.

All important information about individual stops and orders is also available while on the road. This includes:

• Stops and orders in the specified sequence
• Addresses and loading and unloading time windows
• Quantities, weights, and loading equipment
• Special instructions, such as notification contact details

This gives drivers all the relevant information for their routes directly on their smartphones, allowing them to work through their orders in a clear and organized way.

Easily document loading and unloading operations digitally

Another component of PROLAG Drive is digital progress tracking. With just one click, drivers can confirm that a stop has been completed and that the corresponding loading or unloading operation is finished. Completed stops are marked accordingly as completed in the route overview. This makes the progress of daily routes transparent and gives dispatchers a better overview of the status of order processing.

With PROLAG Drive, CIM expands PROLAG Transport with a mobile solution that simplifies information exchange between dispatchers and drivers, reduces paper-based processes, and provides greater transparency in day-to-day transport operations.
